The Pre-licensing class can be taken either in a classroom environment or via distance learning/virtual class. If you choose to take the classroom version, you will receive an MV-278 Pre-licensing Course Completion Certificate. Regardless of which version you decide to enroll in, all courses use the same curriculum. Once you successfully complete your course, the provider will report your completion to the DMV automatically, and you don't require the certificate at the time of taking your driver's test.
